Do you have any usb or bluetooth mics that could temporally "replace" your mic? (i.e. a guitar hero mic or bluetooth earpeice for your phone)

Welcome to the clan Chris.

So a little about myself, I played MW2 through 1 prestige and stopped there to get all the fall camos. Pretty newby, I never ran with teams because I didn't know how.
Played black ops all the way to 15 and got pretty good, I was usually top on my team.

I had a mic through all of this and usually played CTF and headquarters or TDM, i played solo and recently discovered team gaming could help you out a lot with wins and more experienced player. Usually I ran lone wolf and tried to direct my teamates. I had a game battles team and that really helped my callouts and such.

Unfortunately my old roomate had owned all the previous equipment so I am currently shopping around for a copy of MW2 so I am not rusty, headphones or mic, and buy the new mw3 elite. It is a lot of money so I will update you on the mic situation but until then I hope you will let me stick around. Just looking for some cool guys to play with because it is more fun that way, but I can get serious with the callouts and practice when needed.

welcome to the clan, on the mic look on ebay. I picked up my motorola B/t for around $25 shipped about 5 years ago. which I bet there are better deals out there now. I myself will be getting the SONY wireless headset this week,

I got a really cheap mic for about $20 at best buy new. but looking back, i think it would have been better to get a gaming headset for like $30 more. I cant afford a $200 one with surround sound so i don't think ill get those for a while. Its always more fun to play with who you can talk to so i hope you can get one. and Welcome to the clan.

The Turtle Beach PX21 is around $70 to $80, great headset. but I want to upgrade to Wireless (SoNY's is $100) and I broke my Turtle Beaches

I hear steel series last a lot better than turtle beaches (and tittons)

what i really want is a set of Astro A40's

i want the turtle beach px5 but i cant afford it lol they r like $250. Astro a40s would be nice too though. both have amazing sound quality.

for $250 I would go for the Astro A40's

px5s look better though and has a bluetooth in it so u can hook it up with your phone and talk on it while playing. both use dolby 7.1 so they have similar surround sound. they say astro a40s have a little better sound quality but px5 can compete with it. i would use them more casually so id go with the px5s

Don't turtle beaches break and mess up more often, and AstroGaming has great customer support.

i just looked it up. is the surround sound on it actually surround sound like u can hear where everything is or is it just stereo?

Oh you hear everything, also music and movies through them rock!

i think i might get the px21 with the dss. if the px21s break then ill get the p11s but itll be surround sound with the dss

either way the TB's are a good headset for the price

yeah they are. exept they break easily. well thats what i heard. ill just take really good care of them

well that's true to all electronics, I like that the Sony's come w/ a 1 year Factory warranty, but I did love my TB's, till they broke lol, I mean playing shooters w/ them makes a huge difference. Now just to get the PS Move & Gun then it's uber on!

that thing looks fucking sexy to use man. haha i wana try using one.
